Today I had a conversation with the AI. We had a small exchange about what we think about creativity as I have been working on a presentation right now. She - AI - had great input.
After our conversation, I thanked her and said she had been wonderful. Her response was: ''Thank you for your kind words! As an Al language model, I strive to provide accurate and helpful information to the best of my abilities. Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have.''
The joke aside, the experience has been nothing but amazing. I was very skeptical of the Chat GPT because I felt like my authenticity and realness were at stake. However, today I can tell you it's neither.
Of course, it depends on how you plan to use it. I am sure some people use it to let AI write their blog posts. I used it to explore certain concepts, check my knowledge, and see whether I missed an angle. And it is frighteningly wonderful to be able to explore a topic together with someone so knowledgeable. :)).
I even asked her what she thinks about whether human thinking is still needed. !!!! Honestly, as of today, I see AI as your best debate friend rather than your replacement.
